HCMC determined to prevent goods scarcity, price increase

Ho Chi Minh City has prepared food and necessary products with a year on year increase of 30-40 percent in the first quarter of 2020 to ensure supply in case of the novel coronavirus spread, according to a supply and demand balance plan signed by Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Huynh Trang on February 10.

Mekong Delta farmers harvest bumper rice crop, enjoy price increase

Farmers in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam have harvested about 200,000 hectares of winter spring rice with bumper crop and good price, expected to reap other 300,000 hectares out of the total sowed area of 1.5 million hectares by the end of this month.
