HCMC focusing on training AI human resources

Considered the leader in scientific research and development in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) has soon aimed at becoming a smart urban area since 2018. Public transport project wins championship in ‘Al Hack 2020’

The final round of the contest ‘AI Hack 2020’ took place yesterday in Saigon Hi-tech Park (sited in District 9 of Ho Chi Minh City). The project bSmart – using AI to address public transport issues – impressively defeated other competitors to win the championship.

Monitoring camera system proves effective in public security maintenance

A series of monitoring cameras have been installed in several districts of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). They are connected to form a digital public security system for each district. Thanks to the data captured by them, the police have been able to solve many crimes, from minor to serious, in order to ensure safety of citizens living in the city.
