Public transport project wins championship in ‘Al Hack 2020’

The final round of the contest ‘AI Hack 2020’ took place yesterday in Saigon Hi-tech Park (sited in District 9 of Ho Chi Minh City). The project bSmart – using AI to address public transport issues – impressively defeated other competitors to win the championship.

HCMC to determinedly apply AI for sustainable development

After the launch of the contest ‘AI-related Solutions in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) 2020’, there have been several promising papers submitted. Monitoring camera system proves effective in public security maintenance

A series of monitoring cameras have been installed in several districts of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). They are connected to form a digital public security system for each district. Thanks to the data captured by them, the police have been able to solve many crimes, from minor to serious, in order to ensure safety of citizens living in the city.

Contest for AI implementation launched in HCMC

Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Department of Science and Technology yesterday cooperated with HCMC Department of Information and Communications, Vietnam National University – HCMC, and the National Agency for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Development (NATEC) to formally launch the competition ‘HCMC AI-driven Innovation Project 2020’ (HAI-2020).
