All through Vietnam, the society is preparing for the new academic year of 2019-2020. Sadly, despite being a key agricultural region, the Mekong Delta region is short of both infrastructure and human resources to successfully achieve the educational goals for this year. This results from the unequal investment and requires immediate remedies.

The largest solar power plant in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang, built at the total capital of VND3 trillion (US$128.99 million), was inaugurated this morning - July 6 in the border district of Tinh Bien with the presence of representatives from ministries and leaders from provinces in the delta.

Mekong Delta farmers harvest bumper rice crop, enjoy price increase

Farmers in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam have harvested about 200,000 hectares of winter spring rice with bumper crop and good price, expected to reap other 300,000 hectares out of the total sowed area of 1.5 million hectares by the end of this month.
