Coach Park, Korean Embassy donate $100,000 to fight coronavirus

President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC) Tran Thanh Man on March 3 hosted a reception for Republic of Korea Ambassador to Vietnam Park Noh Wan, head coach of the Vietnamese national U23 football team Park Hang Seo and Korean businessmen at the headquarters of VFFCC in Hanoi.

HCMC to support workers unemployed due to coronavirus

The standing board of the HCMC Party Committee has agreed to reduce incentive bonus payment of cival servants and officials to support workers who lost job due to COVID-19, said HCMC Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Thien Nhan at an online conference of the Ho Chi Minh City Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on March 26.

Vietnamese advised to avoid travel to coronavirus-hit areas in RoK

The Consular Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnamese Embassy in the Republic of Korea (RoK) on February 21 recommended Vietnamese citizens to avoid travel to areas that are affected by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and vulnerable to the virus in the country as warned by local competent agencies.
