The Department of Tourism in central Da Nang city held a ceremony on October 4 to welcome the first group of domestic tourists after more than two months all tourism activities in the city were suspended to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
Vietnam recorded seven new COVID-19 cases, including one imported, on August 18 morning, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
Students across the country except some localities such as Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province entered the first day of the national high school exit exam 2020 on August 9, local authorities have worked to ensure essential phases of the exam especially Covid-19 prevention.
The supply of essential goods, including food, foodstuffs, face masks, and hand sanitizers must be ensured by all means to meet the demand of people amid the unpredictable developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, said Mr. Do Thang Hai, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade (MoIT).
The Vietnam Railway Corporation has said that given the complex developments surrounding COVID-19 in Da Nang, it will add more trains from the city to Hanoi and HCMC from July 27.
