Da Nang airport ceases to welcome international flights

The Da Nang Airport in the central city of the same name is temporarily closed to international flights that carry overseas experts and Vietnamese in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, said a representative of the Ministry of Transport in a recent interview with the Vietnam News Agency.

Defence ministry transfers land to Da Nang Airport for expansion plan

The Ministry of Defense, the Air Defense – Air Force Service and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) on August 9 signed an agreement on the handover of 12.7 hectares of military land at Da Nang International Airport to the Transport Ministry to enable the airport expansion.
