Defense Ministry to restructure military businesses

The Ministry of Defense will hold 100 percent state capital at 17 military companies on behalf of the state by 2020 while the remaining companies will be equitized, restructured or dissolved if they are under performance.

Ministry hands over 7,379 s.q meters of defense land to HCMC

The Ministry of Defense yesterday handed over 7,379 square meters of defense land along Truong Chinh street for HCMC to develop traffic infrastructure, in the hope of reducing traffic jam in areas surrounding Tan Son Nhat Airport.

Defense Ministry to assist HCMC to solve port traffic jam

The Defense Ministry will assist HCMC to terminate land for defence purpose encroachment in the city and solve traffic jams around Tan Son Nhat Aiport and Cat Lai Seaport, announced the ministry at a meeting in HCMC yesterday.

Defense ministry to dissolve military firms purely doing business

The Ministry of National Defense will divest from or dissolve military enterprises purely doing business in fields of construction, commerce and services, affirmed Lt. Gen Nguyen Trong Nghia, deputy chairman of the General Political Department of the People's Army of Vietnam on Thursday.
