The Directorate for Roads of Vietnam (DRVN) has proposed an expense of around VND2,057 billion (nearly US$88.2 million) for maintenance of 22,403 kilometers of national highways and three expressways invested by the State in 2021.
Directorate for Roads of Vietnam yesterday said that three toll stations of BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) traffic projects have been forced to stop toll collection from July 6 because investors have been slow to install non-stop toll collection system.
The Transport Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security and the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam under the Ministry of Transport have agreed to share a driving licence management database.
