The Ministry of Transport (MoT) yesterday proposed Vietnamese airlines including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines, Vietjet Air, Bamboo Airways and Vietravel Airlines to consider the reduction of airfreight rates for Thieu lychees from Bac Giang Province.

Transport Ministry fails to meet disbursement plan of public investment capital

The Ministry of Transport (MoT) yesterday informed that the transport sector failed to meet the disbursement plan of public investment capital with nearly VND6,000 billion (US$259 million) disbursed by the end of the first quarter of 2021, accounting for 17 percent of the plan for 2021 and higher than the same period last year.

Bien Hoa -Vung Tau expressway to receive US$293 million from State budget

According to the Ministry of Transport, the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau expressway project has been listed in the public investment plan for the medium term of 2021 – 2025. Of which, the expressway project will receive VND6,770 billion (about US$293 million) from the state budget.
