Quang Trung Industry Joint Stock Company has installed electric pumps with the capacity of 2,000 cubic meters a hour to pump out wastewater from Nguyen Huu Canh street, said director general Nguyen Tang Cuong yesterday.

 

The smart pumping system in Nguyen Huu Canh street needs other few times of testing in heavy rains combined with high tides to estimate its efficiency in coping with flooding in the street. 

 

Secretary of the HCMC Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan yesterday inspected the trial operation of a smart pumping system to cope with flooding in Nguyen Huu Canh street.

HCMC leaders yesterday worked with Quang Trung Industry Joint Stock Company about pilot installation of a smart pumping system to cope with flooding in Nguyen Huu Canh street, Binh Thanh District.
