Flood maroons many places in Northern region, leaving two dead

At least two people were reported dead in Quang Ninh and Hoa Binh provinces in the afternoon on August 3 after heavy rain triggered flooding following the circulation of storm Sinlaku hit and marooned many places in the Northern and North Central region.

Most localities of country face torrential rain, thunderstorm

Indonesia issues emergency state due to serious floods in Papua

Indonesia has issued a 14-day state of emergency to cope with the heavy consequences of flash floods and landslide triggered by torrential rain in the eastern province of Papua, as fatalities have climbed to 77 on March 18.
