At noon of August 1, a tropical low pressure system had developed into this year's second storm named internationally as Sinlaku.

Typhoon Kalmaegi enters East Sea

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center yesterday issued a warning of typhoon Kalmaegi moving from the northeastern part of the Philippines’s Luzon Island to the East Sea towards Vietnam.

Typhoon Nakri to make landfall in South- Central region of Vietnam

The hydro-meteorological forecast and warning centers in Asia-Pacific region informed that the newly- formed tropical depression in the middle of the East Sea intensified into Nakri, which is the typhoon's international name, tends to make landfall in the South- Central region of Vietnam.

Tropical depression changes direction towards Philippines

The latest weather news from the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center of Vietnam said that the tropical depression, developed from a low pressure zone in the East Sea last night, moved towards the Philippines this morning.

Central region likely to face new typhoon

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center officially issued a warning of newly- formed low pressure zone in the middle of the East Sea which might intensify into a storm to hit the mainland of Vietnam.
