Updated application for urban planning in HCMC activated

Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Department of Planning and Architecture has just finished updating the application ‘HCMC Urban Planning Information’ and launched a new application named ‘Planning Management in HCMC’ online as well as in app stores.

HCMC seeks to learn from Bangkok’s experience of climate change adaptation

Continuing a working visit to Thailand, the high ranking delegation of Ho Chi Minh City led by the permanent deputy secretary of the HCMC Party Committee, Tran Luu Quang met the local government of Bangkok on November 25 to gain experience in flood control and urban planning, the development of waterway tourism and urban night tourism.

HCMC seeks cooperation with Singapore in planning, human resource training

After wrapping up the working visit to Indonesia on August 24, the high-ranking delegation from HCMC led by Secretary of the city Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan on the same day visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore. The Secretary emphasized that the visit to Singapore aims to sign cooperation agreements in urban planning and human resource training.

Solutions unclear, unspecific for seven breakthrough programs

HCMC has traveled one third of the way to implement the 10th city Party Committee’s resolution in the term of 2015-2020. Still obtained results have been initial, unconnected and yet to create clear changes with unspecific solutions.
