The reason is that Vietnam Airlines flights have to fly over Mongolia to avoid Pakistani airspace.
This temporary flight schedule may be extended due to the time of Pakistan airspace closure.
In order to set up the new flying plan, Vietnam Airlines had to urgently apply for flight permission to 10 countries and asked the European Aviation Authorities for assistance to change the air routes to eight countries as Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Sweden.
