HCM City welcomes 300 visitors on Princess Daphne Cruise Ship

The Saigontourist Travel Service Company welcomed 300 visitors and crew members arriving aboard the Princess Daphne luxury cruise ship from Portugal to Ho Chi Minh City on January 15.

This is the second visit by the luxury liner to Vietnam. Visitors, mostly from Australia, will tour the city and visit the Cu Chi tunnels and My Tho City in the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang.

The trip will be filled with visits to interesting places like the popular Ben Thanh Market, the water puppet show, a walk around the Cho Lon area, a visit to the Phuong Nam Lacquer Workshop and tasting the many delicacies like coconut sweets, honey and fruits of the Mekong Delta region.

The cruise ship is expected to leave the city on January 16 and will return on February 9. The Saigon tourist company will conduct tours of Nha Trang, Ha Long and Da Nang during the five day visit of the liner.

From January 22-26, Saigontourist Travel Service Company is expected to receive 2,200 visitors and crew members arriving on the luxury cruise ship Costa Classica to HCM City. The visitors will tour HCM City, Dang Nang and Ha Long.
