Budget carrier Viva Macau Airlines celebrated the 2nd anniversary of service between Ho Chi Minh City and Macau on Monday, and launched its new ticket office on the same day.
The booking office is located on the third floor of the five-star Sheraton hotel in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1.

In addition to opening the new office, the low-cost carrier launched a promotion for the Ho Chi Minh City-Macau service, which became daily in July this year. Promotional fares until Dec. 11 start from US$49 one way.
Traffic between the two cities has grown significantly, Viva Macau CEO Reg Macdonald said.
“We’re pleased to see an increasing number of travelers between Ho Chi Minh City and Macau, especially since we operated daily service.”
“We are also keen in starting new service to Hanoi,” he added. However, the time to launch has not been announced.
Viva Macau currently flies direct from Macau to Ho Chi Minh City, Tokyo, Jakarta and Sydney. It will commence twice weekly service between Macau and Melbourne on Dec. 9, and Japan’s Sapporo on Dec. 19. The carrier also has plans to fly to India.
