Vung Tau International Travel Expo 2007 aims to promote Ba Ria – Vung Tau province’s trade, tourism, and investment potential to local and foreign enterprises.

Many interesting cultural activities including musical recitals, aerial parachute performances, a wine and food fair, gemstone painting auctions, sport competitions and a seminar on attracting international tourists. These activities are all taking place during the expo which got underway on Tuesday in Vung Tau City.
The event incorporates more than 250 display booths with hundreds of Vietnamese and foreign enterprises from India, Canada, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Russia, and South Africa. Other business’ in related industries, including tourism, hotels, restaurants, banking, and handicrafts also have display stands.
One of the highlights of the expo is the seminar themed “What Should We Do to Appeal Foreign Visitors to Ba Ria – Vung Tau: Sharing Ideas Together”. This seminar is scheduled to take place on October 22.
The travel show is also a chance for local and foreign firms to market their products, swap information and to seek business opportunities. It also gives them the opportunity to know potential customers and competitors, while boosting tourism to the area.
